mix half and half of the shilpakar clay mix well until well blended
make small balls shaping like pebbles for he pond, i have also made the rock in he lion enclosure and the den using shilpakar ,(make a ball then flatten it keeping one side thick for the base side, shape it like a cave and place small balls of lay on the cave sides to look more natural )
you can buy thermocol of sheet of required size,i used 65/47 inches size sheet.paint the thermocol with brown and sap green color,
for fence cut skewer sticks to desired height (4 1/2 to 5 inch) and col.our them black, here is an easy trick to colur those sticks, just take them in a plastic bowl pour few drops of black acrylic paint along with few drops of water and toss it until well coated.transfer it to a plate and let dry,it dries quicker as its acrylic paint and saves time,
similar technique for the ice cream sticks ,cut them all in equal length with a slant cross angle to pierce them easily to the sheet ,colour them black the same way you did with skewers.
color the pebbles with dark brown mixed with a hint of black then shade with light brown,
make walls using thin thermocol sheets, or paper, i used craft papers cut to equal size strips and pasted
would like to share another trick with you - that is i have used shilpakar glue on all animal legs to glue them to the thermocol sheet so that they don't fall of when you are moving the project ,glue don't work on them as thermocol will melt if you use fevibond or feviquick, and fevicol doesn't fix plastic
the little cardboard office is made from taping the cuts from a cardboard box ,then painted.
most of the time we find miniature animals in bizzare colors ,and i found some too ,but you can color the animals with acrylic craft colors and give your touch to it ,as i did in case of bengal tiger, white tiger and the black panther,as nandan kaanan zoo is famous for these animals, and also used picture cuttings for ghadiyals in the centre
for the entrance cut white foam sheets for the two side pillars 16 1/2 inch long and 3 1/2 wide ,and the one on top with a curve on top to stick the tiger picture 18 1/2 ,draw the curve part and cut as a single piece, stick the skewer sticks on the reverse side for support with a little length to the bottom to pierce it to the sheet and make it stand upright
